Smartphone sensor & its utilisation

Smartphone made our life pretty simple. We can operate our work from anywhere. Certainly smartphone can do everything as computer can. In our smartphone some present apps which rely on telemetry data for better working. For this, smartphone manufacturer has to consist number of sensor.

Let's know about a few sensor.

 1- Accelerometer- The Accelerometer sensor identifies in which direction your smartphone is turned to. Along this, it helps you to watching video, taking shots in portrait or landscape mode. In short, it senses tilting motion and orientation of the smartphone.

2- Gyroscope- Gyroscope works just like Accelerometer. It uses the earth gravity & tells you in which direction your body is twisted. This sensor is mostly used for playing games on your smartphone.

3- Magnetometer- By using this sensor you can detect is which direction east or north is. This sensor is work with google map.

4- GPS (Global Positioning System)- By using this sensor, you can retrieve your location that where you are. when we book any cab, the cab app retrieve your location & book cab for your location. It also sends the weather info directly to your smartphone.

5- Proximity Sensor- This sensor detects the presence of human ears. This sensor is used for two purpose. First, reducing the power consumption by turning off display backlight. Second, to avoid inadvertent touch by cheek.

6- Fingerprint Sensor- This sensor protects your phone by fingerprint security. By this sensor you can lock & unlock your device easily.
