We all have installed antivirus in our laptops and Pcs, but hold on a second, have you ever thought how they work for you, don't? Today in this article, I am going to tell you how it works so brilliantly, The process is very simple to figure out.
When an antivirus is installed in a computer system or laptop. It contains list of all viruses definitions that's been identified by antivirus till last virus definition updated. As the scanning process starts. It matches its virus data list to the syatem data or laptop data. If antivirus matches its data to the PC data somewhere, The antivirus alerts you that your program has infected by a virus within this process antivirus pops up several options to repair and delete them. If you click on delete it'll delete that infected file or virus. If you choose repair option it'll free your file from virus. But sometimes repair option doesn't work. It is how an antivirus works.
Antivirus works better when it is updated with current virus definitions.
What if the virus is encrypted? Many anti malware softwares comes. It recognise that virus brilliantly by its behaviour. Antivirus can't scan encrypted virus because there is no possibility to reach into the file format (You know encryption is a security that no-one can enter into to break without owner permission). Many genuine software (aside antivirus) also alerts you when an encrypted virus winds up other files with their infection.
Now question remains which antivirus is the best for your laptops & computer systems? I would recommend you to use any antivirus but it must be paid and genuine version. You can use it as long as you want. Unconditionally it should be genuine versions(MCafee antivirus, Avast antivirus, AVG antivirus, Norton antivirus, Avira antivirus).
Note- No anti-virus takes guarantee that'll protect your PC 100%. It just make sure that your computer not affected by any virus.
